G-Series (record Label)
G-Series is a major Bangladeshi record label. The company produces and publishes cassettes, CDs, VCDs, and DVDs of dramas, telefilms, movies, and music. It is one of the largest such companies in Bangladesh. The owner of the company is Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan, popularly known as Khaled. The Daily Star described it a major record label in Bangladesh. History G-Series was established in 1983 by Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan. In 2006, Agniveena production was founded as a sister concern of G-Series. G-series is named after the famous book of poems, Gitanjali of Rabindranath Tagore. In 2007, G-Series was seeing a decline in the sale of compact disks due to piracy. In 2010, for the Eid market, G-series and Agniveena, its sister concern, released 30 albums. The same year the company partnered with BBC World Service Trust to launch BBC Janala on CD. Artcell is a Bangladeshi progressive metal band formed in October 1999 by vocalist and riff guitarist George Lincoln D'Costa, lead guitarist Ershad Zaman, bassist Saef Al Nazi Cézanne and drummer Kazi Sazzadul Asheqeen Shaju. The first song the band composed was ‘'' অন্য সময় (Other Time)''’. The song set the standard for all the songs yet to come along the way. Black is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in 1998 in Dhaka originally formed by Jon Kabir (lead singer, rhythm guitars), Mushfeque Jahan (lead guitars), Mahmudul Karim Miraz (bass guitars), Tony Vincent (drums) and Tahsan Rahman Khan (keyboards) who joined the band in 2000. Shironamhin ( bn, শিরোনামহীন ''Śirōnāmahīn'' English: ''Untitled'') is a Bengali rock band formed in Dhaka in 1996. Following as a rock group emerging from Dhaka's underground music in the late 1990s, they were distinguished for their extended psychedelic and progressive compositions, multi-instrumental experimentation, and philosophical lyrics and became one of the leading band of the Bengali progressive rock genre. Aurthohin is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in Dhaka in 1998 by Saidus Sumon (vocals and bass guitar), Tonmoy Rahman (lead guitar), Ponir (rhythm guitar) and Rumi Rahman (drums and percussion). Tahsan Rahman Khan (Bengali:তাহসান রহমান খান; born 18 October 1979), known mononymously as Tahsan Khan or Tahsan, is a Bangladeshi musician and actor. He is the lead singer of his own rock band Tahsan and the Band. Born and raised in Dhaka, Tahsan first started his musical career with the alternative rock band Black. He later left the band and started his solo music career, his first solo album is ''Kothopokothon'' released in the year 2004. He also started his television acting career in 2004 with the famous drama “Offbeat” and has subsequently performed in more than 100 dramas in television and OTT platform combined. Begum Parveen Sultana ( as, বেগম পাৰৱীন চুলতানা; born May 1950) is an Indian Hindustani classical singer of the Patiala Gharana.
