Arvingarna is a Swedish dansband formed in Gothenburg in 1989. The group consists of Casper Janebrink (vocals and bass guitar), Lars Larsson (guitars, vocals and keyboards), Kim Carlsson (vocals and guitars) and Tommy Carlsson (drums and vocals). At Melodifestivalen 1993, they performed the song '"Eloise (Arvingarna song), Eloise", which won, allowing Arvingarna to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1993, Eurovision Song Contest in Millstreet Co. Cork in May that year, where the song finished 7th. History Arvingarna was founded in 1989, following the members earlier having played heavy metal music, heavy metal, without any major successes. The band's name ("The heirs") refers to the group member's parents, who also were active in dansbands. Arvingarna plays a form of dansband music that is it inspired by pop music and rock music, and has also being described as a boyband. Casper Janebrink
Dennis Casper Janebrink (born 2 January 1970) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. He is the lead vocalist and primary lyricist of dansband Arvingarna. Casper Janebrink is the son of Dennis Janebrink and Ing-Marie. He grew up in Partille. In 1993, the Arvingarna song " Eloise" won Melodifestivalen Melodifestivalen (; ) is an annual song competition organised by Swedish public broadcasters Sveriges Television (SVT) and Sveriges Radio (SR). Melodifestivalen 2021
Melodifestivalen 2021 was the 61st edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen. The competition was organised by (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 6 February and 13 March 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all shows of this edition took place in the Annexet in Stockholm, and without an audience. The winner of the competition was Tusse with the song "Voices", who represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he came fourteenth with 109 points. The format of the competition consisted of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final. Annexet
The Annexet is one of the venues in Stockholm Globe City, located in Stockholm, Sweden. Used mainly for concerts and music festivals, but also the host of numerous cultural events, the venue opened in 1989 and has a capacity of 3,950 people. The venue has a long-running connection with the Eurovision Song Contest, having hosted related events in 2000, 2016 and 2021.
