Fábio Yabu (born September 1, 1979, in Santos) is a Brazilian comics and book writer. Combo Rangers
''Combo Rangers'' is a series of webcomics created in 1998 by Japanese-Brazilian author Fábio Yabu. It is based on Japanese manga and the Super Sentai series. It started off as a parody, then developed more serious storylines that still included comedy. It features five main rangers (red, blue, green, pink and yellow) as well as an extra white one. They are led by O Poderoso Combo (The Mighty Combo, whom the Rangers call Tio Combo, or Uncle Combo in English), and fight against several forms of evil. ''Combo Rangers'' has won the Troféu HQ Mix, HQ Mix Award three times. Synopsis The story is set in a fictional city called Cidade City ("City City") which is located in a fictional universe called "Yabuverso" ("Yabuverse"). This universe's Earth is depicted as having several superheroes and villains inspired by both American and Japanese media. ''Sea Princesses '' (known as ''Princesas do Mar'' in Brazil) is a series of children's literature, children's books created by the Brazilian writer and cartoonist Fábio Yabu. The first book was released in 2004 by publisher Panda Books; due to its success, three other books were made. In 2007, it was adapted into a cartoon series produced by Neptuno Films from Spain and Endemol Australia, Southern Star Entertainment from Australia. It was broadcast in 50 countries including France on Piwi+, Germany on KiKa, Spain on Disney Junior, Portugal on RTP2, RTP2 ZigZag, South Africa on K-T.V., Italy on Rai 2 (On Playhouse Disney block) & Rai Gulp and United Kingdom on Tiny Pop.
