Fábio Da Silva Bordignon
Fábio da Silva Bordignon (born 20 June 1992) is a Brazilian Paralympic athlete competing in T35-classification events. He won two silver medals at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also represented Brazil at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan and the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, France. Career Bordignon represented Brazil at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won the silver medals in both the men's 100 metres T35 and men's 200 metres T35 events. In both events, the gold and bronze medals were won by Ihor Tsvietov and Hernan Barreto respectively. At the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London, United Kingdom, he won the bronze medal in the men's 200 metres T35 event with a time of 26.94. At the 2019 Parapan American Games held in Lima, Peru, Bordignon won the gold medal in the men's 100 metres T35 event and the bronze medal in the men's 200 metres T35 event. Rio 2016 Paralympics
The 2016 Summer Paralympics (), the 15th Summer Paralympic Games, were a major international multi-sport event for disabled sports, athletes with disabilities governed by the International Paralympic Committee, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016. The Games marked the first time a Latin American and South American city hosted the event, the second Southern Hemisphere city and nation, the first one being the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, and also the first time a Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) country hosted the event.
