Fábio Cortez
Fábio Cortez Torres (born 3 April 1974) is a Brazilian association football, football Coach (sport), coach, currently the coach of Nanjing City F.C., Nanjing City. Career Cortez was a futsal player before switching to coaching with Barra Futsal. He then coached CR Vasco da Gama, Vasco da Gama until 2008, when he switched to association football, football with Clube Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Mineiro. In 2010, shortly after his return to Vasco's futsal section, Cortez accepted an offer from the Kuwait national futsal team to work as their coach; he was also in charge of Qadsia SC, Qadsia. He returned to Vasco in 2017, as an assistant of the under-20 football side; in 2018, he was named coach of the under-16 team. On 27 February 2021, Cortez was named Marcelo Cabo's assistant in the main squad. 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition began on 28 May and ended on 28 November. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2020 season, four promoted from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C ( Brusque, Londrina, Remo and Vila Nova), and four relegated from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Botafogo, Coritiba, Goiás and Vasco da Gama). Brusque were deducted three points after they were punished by Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) for racial abuse aimed toward Londrina's player Celsinho during the match Brusque v Londrina, played on 28 August (21st round). Brusque also were sanctioned with a fine of R$60,000. On 18 November 2021, STJD overturned its decision and the three points were returned to Brusque.
