Fyholivka
Fyholivka (; ) is a village ('' selo'') in Kupiansk Raion (district) in Kharkiv Oblast of eastern Ukraine, located east by south ( EbS) of the centre of Kharkiv city. It forms part of Dvorichna settlement hromada. History The settlement was founded in 1832. Russian invasion of Ukraine During the early months of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Fyholivka was located within a Russian-controlled part of Kharkiv Oblast, which returned to Ukrainian control as part of a September 2022 Ukrainian offensive. It was reported that Russian forces were attempting to infiltrate the Fyholivka area on 22 February 2023. The village was recaptured by Russian forces on 6 February 2025. Dvorichna Settlement Hromada
The Dvorichna settlement hromada (, ) is a hromada in the Kupiansk Raion, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. The hromada was created on 12 June 2020, and is centrally administered by the urban-type settlement of Dvorichna, being the local government for 55 settlements. The pre-war population of the hromada was small, and the economy was largely agriculture-based with little industry. , the hromada remains about half occupied by Russian forces as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and has been severely depopulated because of a mandatory evacuation that has been issued for all civilians in recaptured areas. Slobozhanshchyna Counteroffensive
On September 6, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a major counteroffensive against the Russian military during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As Ukraine announced the start of the Kherson counteroffensive in southern Ukraine in late August, Ukrainian forces also began a second counteroffensive in early September in Kharkiv Oblast, in eastern Ukraine.
