Fuxingmen Outer Street
Fuxingmen Outer Street () is a major street in urban Beijing. It forms part of the extended Chang'an Avenue. It starts at Fuxing Road in the west and ends at Fuxingmen Bridge in the east. It is a major commercial hub of Beijing, dwarfed only by its more eastern counterparts -- Xidan and Wangfujing. The Chang'an Market lies in this location. Until 2003, the nationwide committee building of the All-China National Trade Union sat along the street for 50 years until it was detonated and demolished. A new building is expected in a few years' time. Fuxingmen Outer Street At Sanlihe East Rd (20200821160759)
Fuxingmen () is the name of a gate that used to be a part of Beijing's old city wall. It is also the name of a road situated in central Beijing and on the northwestern stretch of the 2nd Ring Road. Origin Fuxingmen means "Gate of Revival". An overpass over the ring road exists with the same name. Beijing subway lines 1 and 2 have an interchange stop at Fuxingmen Station. Several public buses serve the area as well. The commercial centres of Xidan and Beijing Financial Street are not far away. Fuxingmen also marks the western end of Fuxingmen Inner Street, which is a western extension of West Chang'an Avenue, and the eastern starting point of Fuxingmen Outer Street. Fuxing Road, Beijing
Fuxing Road () is a road in western Beijing, China, forming part of the extended Chang'an Avenue. The entire road lies within the confines of Haidian District. It is believed to run from Gongzhufen on the West 3rd Ring Road (Beijing), 3rd Ring Road through to the West 5th Ring Road; however, maps indicate its path from Muxidi Bridge (just before the West 3rd Ring Road (Beijing), 3rd Ring Road) to Yuquanlu (just after the West 4th Ring Road). The Wukesong Indoor Stadium, a venue for the 2008 Summer Olympics, runs alongside the road. The venue has since then been renamed the "MasterCard Center". Xidan
Xidan (Chinese character, Chinese: wikt:西, 西wikt:单, 单; Pinyin: Xīdān) is a major traditional commercial area in Beijing, China. It is located in the Xicheng District. The Xidan commercial district incorporates the Xidan Culture Square, North Xidan Street, as well as many supermarkets and department stores. The Xidan Cultural Square is the largest venue for cultural events with shopping nearby in downtown Beijing. Area Xidan occupies around 80 hectares (197.7 Acres) within the Xicheng District. Name The name Xidan (literally, "West Single") came from the paifang that existed on one of the streets there. Wangfujing
Wangfujing Street ( zh, s=王府井大街, p=Wángfǔjǐng Dàjiē) is a shopping street in Beijing, China, located in Dongcheng District. The majority of the main area is pedestrianised. Since the middle of the Ming Dynasty there have been commercial activities in the area.
