Fuxing ( zh, s=复兴号, t=復興號, p=Fùxīng Hào, l=Rejuvenation), also known as the CR series EMU (or as the Fuxing Hao), is a series of high-speed and higher-speed EMU trains operated by China Railway High-speed (CRH) and developed by CRRC. They are the first successful high-speed trains to be fully designed and manufactured in China. Initially known as the China Standardized EMU, development on the project started in 2012, and the design plan was finished in September 2014. The first EMU rolled off the production line on 30 June 2015. Fuxing District ( Atayal: Pyasan; ), formerly known as Fuxing Township or Fu-Hsing Township () is a mountain indigenous district in eastern Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Fuxing Islet () (Fuhsing Islet, Hou-chai Hsü) is an islet located south of Lesser Kinmen (Lieyu) in Lieyu Township, Kinmen County (Quemoy), Fujian Province, Republic of China (Taiwan). The name of the islet was originally Phaktia (). History On August 31, 1975, then-Premier Chiang Ching-kuo visited the islet and met with the soldiers stationed there. On the night of October 19, 2016, the Coast Guard seized a fishing boat with a four man crew captained by a native of Fujian, PRC that was found operating 0.2 nautical miles from Fuhsing Islet (Fuxing Islet). Fu Hsing Broadcasting Station (FHBS; ) is a state-run radio station sponsored by the Republic of China Armed Forces, located on the campus of Ming Chuan University in Taipei, Taiwan, and is operated by the Ministry of National Defense. Fuxinggang station (; formerly transliterated as Fuhsing Kang Station until 2003) is a Taipei Metro station on the Tamsui Line located in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. In the past, the station belonged to the now-defunct TRA Tamsui Line. The name of the station is derived from the nearby Fu Hsing Kang College, a military academy.
