Future Of The Brazilian Navy
The Brazilian Navy has a large number of active and planned projects, under the modernization plans of the Brazilian Armed Forces, defined in the National Defense White Paper (Portuguese: ''Livro Branco da Defesa Nacional'' - LBDN). Brazilian Antarctic Program
The Brazilian Antarctic Program ( pt, Programa Antártico Brasileiro; PROANTAR) is a program of the Brazilian Navy which has presence in the continent of Antarctica. It coordinates research and the operational support for research in the region. It currently maintains a year-round research station in Antarctica ( Comandante Ferraz Antarctic Station), as well as several seasonal field camps. It also maintains two research vessels that sail in the Antarctic waters (the icebreakers '' Almirante Maximiano'' and '' Ary Rongel''). The F21 is a heavy-weight torpedo developed by DCNS for the French Navy to replace the F17 torpedo. It is designed to neutralize enemy ships and submarines and capable of operating in deep waters and near coastal areas with high levels of noise and dense shipping. The Westland Lynx is a British multi-purpose twin-engined military helicopter designed and built by Westland Helicopters at its factory in Yeovil. Itajubá
Itajubá is a municipality in southeastern Minas Gerais state of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
