''FutureNever'' is the second studio album by the Australian musician Daniel Johns, released on 22 April 2022 by BMG Music Australia. It was announced in December 2021 and initially scheduled for release on 1 April 2022 until it was delayed to 22 April to include the song "Emergency Calls Only". Johns said that he did not want to release any singles before the album, as he intended it to "be enjoyed as an album". Johns missed his own album launch party due to crashing his car in a high-range DUI incident. At the 2022 ARIA Music Awards, the album was nominated for Best Solo Artist. At the AIR Awards of 2023, the album was nominated for Independent Album of the Year and won Best Independent Pop Album or EP. Daniel Paul Johns (born 22 April 1979) is an Australian musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the Lead vocalist, frontman, guitarist, and main songwriter of the Rock music, rock band Silverchair. Johns is also one half of The Dissociatives with Paul Mac and one half of Dreams with Luke Steele (musician), Luke Steele. On March 13, 2015 Johns released his first solo EP ''Aerial Love, Aerial Love'' and on March 22, 2015, he released his first solo LP ''Talk (Daniel Johns album), Talk''. The 2023 AIR Awards is the seventeenth annual Australian Independent Record Labels Association Music Awards ceremony (generally known as the AIR Awards), which took place on 3 August 2023 in Adelaide. 2022 ARIA Music Awards
The 2022 ARIA Music Awards were the 36th Annual Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (generally known as ARIA Music Awards or simply The ARIAs) and consist of a series of awards, including the 2022 ARIA Artisan Awards, ARIA Fine Arts Awards and the ARIA Awards. The ARIA Awards ceremony occurred on 24 November 2022, broadcast on Nine Network and live-streamed via YouTube from Hordern Pavilion, Sydney. Peking Duk
Peking Duk is an Australian electronic music band from Canberra, made up of disc jockeys and record producers Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. The pair first garnered attention in 2012 with the release of a Passion Pit bootleg remix. Their biggest hit, "High", reached 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, achieved a triple platinum certification, and won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2014. Laura Raia (born May 12, 1996), known professionally as Moxie Raia, is an American singer-songwriter. She is of Italian descent. Her first mixtape ''931'' featuring artists like Pusha T, Wyclef Jean and Post Malone was released in March 2016. ARIA Award For Best Solo Artist
The ARIA Award for Best Solo Artist, is an award first presented at the 2021 ARIA Music Awards as ARIA Award for Best Artist. It is handed out by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), an organisation whose aim is "to advance the interests of the Australian record industry." In 2021, the previous categories of ARIA Award for Best Male Artist, Best Male Artist and ARIA Award for Best Female Artist, Best Female Artist were combined to ensure that the ARIA Awards reflect and embrace equality and the true diversity of the music industry. Van Dyke Parks (born January 3, 1943) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger, record producer, singer, and former Warner Bros. Records executive whose work encompasses orchestral pop, elaborate recording experiments, Americana iconography, free-associative lyrics, and Caribbean sounds. He is best known for his 1967 album ''Song Cycle'' and his collaborative work with acts such as the Beach Boys, Lowell George, and Harry Nilsson, as well as various film and television scores.
