''Furaana Dheynan'' is a 2011 Maldivian television mini-series developed for Television Maldives by Ahmed Saeed. Ahmed Saeed (actor)
Ahmed Saeed is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career 1997–2010: Debut and early releases On 13 June 1997, Saeed made his screen debut in a video single alongside Hassan Afeef and Mariyam Nisha. Afterwards, he played a role in Yoosuf Rafeeu's ''Dhiriulhumakee Mieebaa?''. He made his official film debut in Fathimath Nahula's debut direction ''Fahuneyvaa'' (1998), starring opposite Hussain Sobah, Jamsheedha Ahmed and Mariyam Nisha which portrays the love-conflict of a man between a prominent stage performer and a deaf-mute poor girl. Saeed played the role of Ahmed, a childhood friend of Ziyan who secretly marries two girls. The film was critically appreciated by critics and was a Hit commercially by screening twenty six housefull shows at cinema. Hussain Sobah
Hussain Sobah (11 November 1972) is a Maldivian film actor, music composer and playback singer. Career In 1995, Sobah featured in Mohamed Shiyaz's ''Dhushman'' alongside Mariyam Nisha, Aminath Rasheedha and Hamid Ali in pivotal roles. In the film, he plays the character Riyaz, an underprivileged young man who loses his girlfriend over social discrimination. Hamid Ali's ''Badhal'' was released in 1996, in which he starred alongside Ali, Niuma Mohamed and Waleedha Waleed as a twin; a mentally challenged young man with an immature attitude. Ibrahim Wisan
Ibrahim Wisan (born 27 February 1977), nicknamed as Kandi is a Maldivian cinematographer, actor and director. Career In 1996, Wisan starred in Mohamed Rasheed's '' Hifehettumeh Neiy Karuna'' opposite Niuma Mohamed, Abdul Raheem and Arifa Ibrahim. He again collaborated with Arifa Ibrahim for her drama film ''Dhauvaa'', an unofficial remake of Deepak Sareen's Bollywood film '' Aaina'' (1993), where he reprised the role played by Deepak Tijori in the original. After working as a cinematographer in Easa Shareef's horror classic '' Fathis Handhuvaru'' (1997), Wisan was offered the role behind camera for several other films. Fathimath Azifa (born 28 October 1988) is a Maldivian film actress. She has established a career in Maldivian films and is the recipient of several awards, including a Gaumee Film Award. Career 2010–16: Debut and breakthrough Azifa made her career debut while studying at grade four, in an episode from Yoosuf Rafeeu's comedy television series ''Dhiriulhumakee Mieebaa''. Afterwards, she appeared in another episode of the same series aired in 2007. Ibrahim Jihaad Shavee commonly known as Ibrahim Jihad (born 30 November 1980) is a Maldivian actor. Career Abdul Faththaah's horror film '' Eynaa'' was released in 2004, which appears Sheela Najeeb, Mohamed Manik, Ahmed Shah, Khadheeja Ibrahim Didi, Jihad and Nashidha Mohamed as six colleagues who go on a picnic to a haunted uninhabited island and their battle for survival. The film garnered critical appreciation specially for its technical department and was a commercial success. Mariyam Shahuza is a Maldivian former film actress. Career In 2002, Shahuza appeared in a small role as a doctor in Amjad Ibrahim-directed film '' Kahvalhah Dhaandhen'' (2002). Having disappeared from the screen for almost four years, she made a comeback as a gossip loving friend in the horror film '' Hukuru Vileyrey'' (2006), co-directed by Aishath Rishmy and Aminath Rasheedha which was based on a novel published by Ibrahim Waheed on ''Haveeru Daily'' in 2003. Rafiyath Rameeza
Rafiyath Rameeza (23 March 1976) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Rafiyath Rameeza was born and raised in the "Rameez family" where several artists including Ali Rameez and Ibrahim Rameez were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. At the age of 12, while studying at Aminiya School, she competed in the Television Maldives Interschool Singing Competition and continued to participate in the same competition for more years. Mohamed Farhad
Mohamed Farhad (18 sep 1999) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Farhad was born on 25 June 1982 in Th. Madifushi. Since childhood, he was exposed to music of several genres which leads him to perform in the stage shows held in some of the occasions. In 2005, he performed the track "Jahanvaane Athaa Athaa" for the album ''Yaahabeys'' (2005) which was ultimately included in Mohamed Abdulla's comedy short film series, '' Falhi Sikunthu 2'' (2005).
