Funny Looking Angels
''Funny Looking Angels'' is a collaborative Christmas album recorded by Smith & Burrows, a band made up of English musicians Tom Smith (Editors musician), Tom Smith (Editors (band), Editors) and Andy Burrows (I Am Arrows, Razorlight, ex-We Are Scientists). It was released on 25 November 2011 through Kitchenware Records. The album contains four covers: "Only You (Yazoo song), Only You" by Yazoo (band), Yazoo, Black (singer), Black's "Wonderful Life (Black song), Wonderful Life", "Funny Looking Angels" by Delta, and "On and On" by Longpigs. Promotion "Funny Looking Angels" was released as the lead single to promote the album. The second single, "When the Thames Froze", was released on 12 December 2011. It has peaked at number 32 on the UK Indie Chart, and entered national charts in Belgium and the Netherlands. Tom Smith (Editors Musician)
Tom Smith (born ) is an English musician, best known as the lead singer, songwriter, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist of the indie rock band Editors. Early life Smith is the son of high school science teachers Sylvia and John Smith. He grew up in Stroud, Gloucestershire, where he attended Woodchester Endowed Primary School and learned to play the guitar under the guidance of the school's headmaster. He then attended Archway School in Stroud, where his parents taught physics and chemistry. He later studied music technology at Staffordshire University and met his future Editors bandmates. Career Editors After a number of name changes and preluding singles, Editors released their debut album '' The Back Room'' on 25 July 2005 to critical acclaim.
