Fulvio Valbusa
Fulvio Valbusa (born February 15, 1969 in Verona) is an Italian cross-country skier who competed from 1992 to 2006. He won two medals in the 4 × 10 km relay at the Winter Olympics with a gold in 2006 and a silver in 1998. He also finished fifth in three other cross-country events at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano (10 km + 15 km combined pursuit, 30 km, and 50 km). Sabina Valbusa (born 21 January 1972 in Verona) is an Italian cross-country skier who competed from 1993 to 2010. Biography Competing in five Winter Olympics, she earned a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. Her best individual finish was a ninth in the 5 km + 5 km combined pursuit at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1997 took place from February 21 to March 2 at Granåsen Ski Centre in Trondheim, Norway. This event was the first time in consecutive championships that the number or type of events did not change since 1966 and 1970.
