Fulham Irish GAA Club is a Gaelic Football and Hurling Club who play on Wormwood Scrubs in West London. Fulham Irish GAA hold the unique status of being the only club in London to offer dual players Senior Football & Senior Hurling. It is a unique achievement for a Club that was established in 2006 & only formed a hurling team as recently as 2011. The Fulham Irish Hurling Team defeated Granuaille in the London Intermediate Championship Final in 2012 to gain promotion to the top tier of London Hurling. The team completed a remarkable journey for the club by joining the Senior ranks of the London Hurling fraternity in only their 2nd year of existence. Wormwood Scrubs
Wormwood Scrubs, known locally as The Scrubs (or simply Scrubs), is an open space in Old Oak Common located in the north-eastern corner of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham in west London. It is the largest open space in the borough, at , and one of the largest areas of common land, common in London. The eastern part, known as Little Wormwood Scrubs, is cut off by Scrubs Lane and the West London line railway. It has been an open public space since the Wormwood Scrubs Act 1879. The southern edge of the Scrubs is the site of two locally important institutions. London Intermediate Hurling Championship
The London Intermediate Hurling Championship is a Gaelic Athletic Association cup competition between the second tier hurling clubs in London, England, organised by London GAA. In addition to four intermediate clubs, three senior clubs regularly submit 'B' teams into the competition. The competition's winner is promoted to the senior championship for the following year. The London Senior Football Championship is a Gaelic Athletic Association cup competition between the top Gaelic football clubs in London, England. The London GAA, London Football championship began in 1897 with Ireland United winning the first title. Tir Chonaill Gaels have won the competition the most times (18). Jack Goulding
Jack Goulding (born 1997) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays hurling with St Gabriel's and Gaelic football with Fulham Irish, having earlier played with Ballyduff, while he has also played at senior inter-county level with Kerry and London. Career Goulding first played hurling to a high standard as a student at Causeway Comprehensive school. He scored a vital goal when the school's under-16 team beat Roscrea Vocational School to claim the Munster Vocational JAHC title in 2012. Goulding later lined out with University of Limerick and was a substitute for their Fitzgibbon Cup success in 2018. After progressing through the juvenile and underage ranks with the Ballyduff club, Goulding made his senior team debut in 2014. He won a Kerry SHC medal after a 4-13 to 1-19 defeat of Lixnaw in the 2017 final replay. Goulding continued his club career after moving to London in 2020. The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Owen "Mugsy" Mulligan (born 1981) is an Irish people, Irish Gaelic footballer who played for the Cookstown Fr. Rock's club and for the Tyrone county football team, Tyrone county team. St Brigid's GAA Club (''Naomh Bríd'') is a Gaelic football club located in the parishes of Kiltoom and Cam in County Roscommon, Ireland.
