Beth Keiko Fukumoto (formerly Fukumoto Chang, born March 30, 1983) is an American politician who served in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 2012 to 2018, representing District 36. Fukumoto was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 2012 and was the youngest person to serve as the House Minority Leader. Nobuyuki Fukumoto
is a Japanese manga artist, well known for his work including unique and original gambling ideas, deep psychological analyses of characters, and his distinct art style. Gambling and yakuza are recurring themes in his manga. In English-speaking countries, he is best known as the author of Kaiji, a gambling-related manga, and '' Akagi'', a mahjong-related manga. In 1998, he won the Kodansha Manga Award for '' Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji''. Fukumoto Kazuo
was a Japanese Marxist and one of the most important theoreticians of the Japanese Communist Party during the 1920s. Biography Fukumoto was born in Tottori Prefecture to a moderately prosperous landowning family. He studied law at Tokyo Imperial University and became a lecturer at a high school after graduation. In 1922 he was sent to Europe to study law; there he familiarized himself with Marxism and joined the Communist Party of Germany. When he returned home in 1924 he joined a small communist group and became an editor for a small magazine simply called ''Marxism''. Fukumoto wrote numerous articles and was well known in left-wing circles for his interpretations of Marxism-Leninism and his criticism of other Japanese Marxist scholars, especially Yamakawa Hitoshi and Kawakami Hajime. Yutaka Fukumoto
is a retired Japanese professional baseball player in Nippon Professional Baseball. An aggressive lead-off man and superior defensive centerfielder, he holds the Japanese career records in triples and stolen bases. He also hit more lead-off home runs than anyone in Japanese history, with 43. In 2002 (Heisei 14), Fukumoto was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame. is a Japanese football player. She plays for Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina in the WE League. As a player for the Japan national team, she was capped 81 times between 2002 and 2016. Seizō Fukumoto
(3 February 1943 – 1 January 2021) was a Japanese actor. Biography Fukumoto started acting at age 15 in Kyoto, the capital of Japanese cinema. A specialist in film and television jidaigeki set in the Edo period, he most often played a rōnin, but in his hundreds of appearances he took nearly every role. His forte was '' kirareyaku'', the person who loses the sword fight. His signature death move was the Ebi-zori, translated into 'prawn bend'. It is reported he has been killed over 50,000 times on screen. In addition, he appeared in modern dramas in roles such as police and yakuza. The American film ''The Last Samurai'' brought him before an international audience in the role of the Silent Samurai.
