Fukagawa-Rumoi Expressway
The is a partially tolled Expressways of Japan, expressway in Sorachi Subprefecture and Rumoi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. The expressway connects Rumoi, Hokkaido, Rumoi on the Sea of Japan coast of Hokkaido to the Dō-Ō Expressway in the central part of the island. It is owned and operated by partially by the East Nippon Expressway Company and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). It is signed as an auxiliary route of Japan National Route 233, National Route 233 as well as E62 under their "2016 Proposal for Realization of Expressway Numbering. History The first section of the Fukagawa-Rumoi Expressway to open was a section between its eastern terminus at Fukagawa Junction on the Dō-Ō Expressway to Fukagawa-nishi Interchange on 11 April 1998. Mashike, Hokkaido
is a town located in Rumoi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. As of September 2016, the town has an estimated population of 4,634 and a density of 13 persons per km2. The total area is 369.64 km2. Mashike's main distinction is the sake brewery Kunimare, which is well known throughout Hokkaido. Mashike also has several fruit farms, and it is easy to buy directly from the farmers. Haboro, Hokkaido
is a List of towns in Japan, town located in Rumoi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. As of September 2016, the town has an estimated population of 7,338. The total area is 472.49 km2. The town also administers the two islands of Yagishiri Island, Yagishiri and Teuri Island, Teuri. Haboro was officially designated a town in 1921. The villages of Teuri and Yagishiri were merged into Haboro in 1955 and 1959, respectively. Etymology The name of the town is from the Ainu language, but of uncertain origin.
