Nippon Ishin No Kai
The is a conservative and centre-right to right-wing populist political party in Japan. Formed as Initiatives from Osaka in October 2015 from a split in the old Japan Innovation Party, the party became the third-biggest opposition party in the National Diet following the 2016 House of Councillors election. He is a former member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), and was co-president of Nippon Ishin no Kai (Japanese: Japan Restoration Party; JPR) alongside Ichirō Matsui from 2016 to 2021. is a Japanese politician and former member of the House of Representatives. Early life and education Tarutoko was born in Shimane Prefecture on 6 August 1959. He studied at the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management. Career Tarutoko was first elected to the House of Representatives in the 1993 election as a member of the defunct Japan New Party. A by-election for the Osaka 12th district in the Japanese House of Representatives was held on 21 April 2019.
