Fuji-Q - Haunted Hospital
is an amusement park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan, owned and operated by the namesake Fuji Kyuko Co. It opened on 2 March 1968. The park is near the base of Mount Fuji. It has a number of roller coasters, as well as two haunted attractions: the Haunted Hospital, the world's largest haunted attraction, and the Hopeless Fortress. Other attractions include Thomas Land, a children's area with a Thomas the Tank Engine theme, and attractions themed to ''Mobile Suit Gundam'', ''Hamtaro'' and ''Neon Genesis Evangelion''. Eejanaika (roller Coaster)
is a steel roller coaster, steel Fourth-dimension roller coaster, fourth-dimension hypercoaster at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, Yamanashi, Japan. The ride opened on 19 July 2006 as the world's second fourth dimension coaster. Eejanaika is taller, faster, and longer than its predecessor, X2 (roller coaster), X2, at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The roller coaster, designed by S&S – Sansei Technologies, S&S Arrow, is a fourth dimension coaster, a design in which the seats can rotate forward or backward 360 degrees in a controlled spin. This is achieved by having four rails on the track: two of these are running rails while the other two are for spin control. Funtime is an amusement ride manufacturer based in Dölsach, Austria and Bundall, Australia. The company manufactures rides such as the Sling Shot, Star Flyer, and Vomatron. Ride Entertainment handles the distribution and operation of rides in North America. History In 1998, Funtime was established in the suburb of Bundall on the Gold Coast, Australia. Shortly after, the company opened a small amusement park in Surfers Paradise, a nearby Gold Coast suburb. At the time, the amusement park was known as Adrenalin Park and featured the company's Sling Shot and Vomatron rides. Vekoma Rides Manufacturing is an amusement ride manufacturer. Vekoma is a syllabic abbreviation of Veld Koning Machinefabriek (Veld Koning Machine Factory) which was established in 1926 by Hendrik op het Veld. History The company originally manufactured farm equipment and later made steel constructions for the coal mining industry in the 1950s. As business shifted from farming equipment to steel construction, Veld Koning Machinefabriek was shortened to Vekoma. Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter
The Euro-Fighter is a type of steel roller coaster developed by Gerstlauer. First launched in 2003, the trademark feature of the roller coaster is its beyond-vertical drop, which reaches an angle greater than 90 degrees. Although the majority of Euro-Fighters are custom designed for each installation, every design so far has included the trademark drop. A number of different track elements are possible, including vertical loops, diving loops and barrel rolls. Almost all Euro-Fighter models have a vertical chain-driven lift hill, although LSM launch systems are also available. Riders are transported in individual cars around the track, which feature two rows of four seats. Riders are seated in open cars, letting their feet swing freely.
