Frédéric Vitoux (tennis)
Frédéric Vitoux (born 30 October 1970) is a former professional tennis player from France. He is a member of the Union nationale des joueurs professionnels de tennis (UNJPT), and part of the "after-tennis" committee of the DTN (Direction technique nationale) of the Fédération Française De Tennis (FFT). Vitoux made his Grand Slam debut in the 1990 French Open and was beaten in the opening round by Soviet player Andrei Cherkasov. He made two further French Open appearances and was eliminated in the first round again in each, to Michael Chang and Andrei Medvedev. The Frenchman qualified for the US Open in 1996 and registered his first ever Grand Slam win when he accounted for fellow qualifier Ramón Delgado in the opening round. He was then eliminated in the second round by David Wheaton in four sets. It wasn't until 1994 that he appeared in an ATP Tour event that wasn't a Grand Slam. Andrei Medvedev (; born 31 August 1974) is a Ukrainian former professional tennis player. Medvedev reached the final of the 1999 French Open, the French Open semifinals in 1993, and won four Masters titles during his career, achieving a career-high ranking of world No. 4 in May 1994. Career In 1991, Medvedev won the junior singles title at the French Open. As a 17 year old the following year, Medvedev won his first two ATP Tour titles in Genoa and Stuttgart (where he beat then-world No. 2 Stefan Edberg, and finished the season ranked within the world's top 25. The ATP Tour (known as ATP World Tour between January 2009 and December 2018) is the sole worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) founded in 1990 that replaced the earlier dual Grand Prix tennis circuit, Grand Prix Circuit and WCT Circuit. Ramón Delgado (; born 14 November 1976) is a Paraguayan retired tennis player and current tennis coach. He turned professional in 1995 and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 52 in April 1999. He reached the final at Bogotá in 1998 and the fourth round of the 1998 French Open, defeating Pete Sampras in the second round. Michael Chang
Michael Te-pei Chang (born February 22, 1972) is an American former professional tennis player and coach. He was ranked world No. 2 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in 1996. Chang is the youngest man in history to win a singles major, winning the 1989 French Open at 17 years and 109 days old.
