Frontier Nagaland
Frontier Nagaland is a region of the Indian state of Nagaland. It comprises the eastern districts of Nagaland. History Earlier the region was part of Tuensang Frontier Division as part of North-East Frontier Agency (present day Arunachal Pradesh) until 1957. The area was transferred to Naga Hills District of United Assam state until 1962 after which it became part of present day Nagaland. The division was renamed as Tuensang Naga Hills District. Amit Anil Chandra Shah (born 22 October 1964) is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister of Home Affairs since 2019 and the first Minister of Co-operation of India since 2021. Noklak District
Noklak District is the 12th district of the Indian state of Nagaland. It was established on January 20, 2021. The district headquarter is located in the town of Noklak. History Noklak district was created on 21 December 2017 as the 12th district of Nagaland. The new district has the same boundaries as the former Noklak sub-division of Tuensang district. Noklak sub-division contained the five admin circles of Noklak, Thonoknyu, Nokhu, Panso and Chingmei. Tuensang District
Tuensang District (Pron:/ˌtjuːənˈsæŋ/) is the largest district in Nagaland, a state in North-East India. Its headquarters is in Tuensang town. History Tuensang is one of the original three districts, along with Mokokchung district and Kohima district formed at the time the state was created. Over the decades, the district has gradually diminished in size with the carving out of Mon, Longleng, Kiphire, Noklak and most recently Shamator districts from it. Longleng District
Longleng District (Pron:/ˈlɒŋˌlɛŋ/) is one of the eleven districts of the Indian state of Nagaland. It is the eighth least populous district in the country (out of 640). Mon District
Mon District (Pron:/mɒn/) is a district of Nagaland, a state in India. It is the third-largest district in Nagaland in terms of area. The district has a population of 250,260 people. Mon Town is the headquarters of the district. History After independence in 1947, Tuensang was created as a separate administrative centre and in 1952, it became a sub-division of NEFA under a separate Assistant Political Officer.
