Edgar Froese
Edgar Willmar Froese (; 6 June 1944 – 20 January 2015) was a German musical artist and electronic music pioneer, best known for founding the electronic music group Tangerine Dream in 1967. Froese was the only continuous member of the group until his death. Although his solo and group recordings prior to 2003 name him as "Edgar Froese", his later solo albums bear the name "Edgar W. Froese". Biography Froese was born in Tilsit, East Prussia (now Sovetsk, Russia), on D-Day during World War II; members of his family, including his father, had been killed by the Nazis and after the war his mother and surviving family settled in Berlin. Byron Froese
Byron Froese (born March 12, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He is currently playing with the Henderson Silver Knights in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League (NHL). Froese was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career On May 31, 2011, the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL signed Froese to a three-year entry level contract. Robert Glenn Froese (born June 30, 1958) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played eight seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers. Jerome Froese (born 24 November 1970 in Berlin, Germany) is a German musician who, in 1990, officially joined his father Edgar Froese in the band Tangerine Dream. He remained a member until 2006. Prior to his direct involvement in Tangerine Dream, Froese often appeared on the covers of the band's albums as a child, beginning with the 1973 release of '' Atem'', when he was two years four months old at the time the album was released. Gayleen Froese (born 1972) is a Canadian novelist and singer-songwriter. She is the author of two paranormal mystery novels, the urban fantasy novel "The Dominion", and the Ben Ames Casefiles series of detective novels. Jacob M. Froese (November 28, 1917 – June 14, 2003) was a politician in the Canadian province of Manitoba. He was the province's only Social Credit MLA between 1959 and 1973, and was the party's leader for most if not all of the period from 1959 to 1977. The son of Jacob J. Froese and Margaret Enns, Froese was born in Winkler, Manitoba to Jacob J. and Margaret (Enns) Froese. His Father was an Old Colony Mennonite Church bishop from 1936 to 1968.
