Fritz Schwarz-Waldegg
Fritz Schwarz-Waldegg, originally Friedrich Schwarz (1 March 1889, Vienna - 14 October 1943, Sobibor) was an Austrian Expressionist and Cubist painter of Jewish ancestry. He was murdered in the Holocaust. The force was created by Hermann Göring in 1933 by combining the various political police agencies of Free State of Prussia, Prussia into one organisation. On 20 April 1934, oversight of the Gestapo passed to the head of the ''Schutzstaffel'' (SS), Heinrich Himmler, who was also appointed Chief of German Police by Hitler in 1936.
