Weerd Science
Josh Eric Eppard (born December 6, 1979) is an American musician from Kingston, New York and the drummer for progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. He has worked as a solo rapper under the name Weerd Science and was the drummer for supergroup rock band Terrible Things. Josh was a founding member of the Woodstock, NY new prog outfit 3 along with his brother Joey and studio engineer Chris Bittner. On November 2, 2006 it was announced that Josh would be leaving Coheed and Cambria indefinitely, with Chris Pennie as his replacement. The reason for his abrupt departure from the band had been shrouded in mystery. However, in an interview with Michael Dodd of Get Your Rock Out, Josh laid the rumours to rest. Though there was speculation Josh had left the band due to "creative limitations", his split from the band actually resulted from a bout with drug addiction that had been exacerbated by the frantic touring schedule, among other things. Equal Vision Records
Equal Vision Records is an independent record label based in Albany, New York. It was founded in the early 1990s by Ray Cappo, singer for the punk bands Youth of Today, Shelter, and Better Than a Thousand. The label originally existed solely to distribute Shelter and other Krishna releases. In 1992, label manager Steve Reddy bought Equal Vision from Cappo. The focus was expanded and a wider variety of bands were brought on board. According to ''Punk News'', the mid-to-late '90s saw a redoubling of the Equal Vision's hardcore efforts with such signings as One King Down and Ten Yard Fight. By the end of the '90s Equal Vision Records (EVR) had a stable of hardcore and punk bands, having added Bane, Trial, Converge and Saves the Day to its roster in the latter part of the decade. Dave Parker (rock Musician)
Dave Parker (born July 15, 1978) is an American musician, producer, writer, live sound engineer, and bassist for Albany, New York indie rock band Stellar Young. He has also worked with various other bands throughout his career. Career Bleed Theory and Divest Bleed Theory began as a studio project, more or less, by Dave Parker, Nate Kelley and Kurt Brown in the fall of 1997. Nate asked Morgan Evans to come down and collaborate on one of the tunes being worked on. Josh Eppard also joined around this time on drums. The band was a side project for Nate, Morgan and Josh, who were involved in Shabutie, Fuse, and 3 (band), respectively. Soon, Josh left to take Nate's place in Shabutie (later to become Coheed and Cambria) and Zac Shaw, a long time friend of Nate and Morgan took his place. Coheed and Cambria are an American progressive rock band from Nyack, New York, formed in 1995. The band consists of Claudio Sanchez (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Travis Stever (guitars, vocals), Josh Eppard (drums, keyboards, backing vocals), and Zach Cooper (bass, backing vocals).
