''Friday Night Football'' is an Australian sports broadcast series is currently airing on the Seven Network. History Non-weekend night matches of Australian rules football first emerged in the late 1970s/early 1980s with the night series, a knock-out tournament featuring teams from across the country and run in parallel with the league seasons. Luke Darcy
Luke Darcy (born 12 July 1975) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL) and now works for the Seven Network and Triple M covering the AFL and the Olympics. Early life Luke Darcy was born in Adelaide, South Australia, the son of David Darcy, who had played with Footscray (as the Western Bulldogs were then called) and played for and coached South Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Leigh Raymond Matthews (born 1 March 1952) is a former Australian rules footballer and coach. Tim Watson
Timothy Michael Watson (born 13 July 1961) is a former AFL player for Essendon and current broadcaster for more than 30 years, with the Seven Network since 1992 & 1116 SEN radio. After retiring from the game, he also continued working in the Australian football industry as a coach. Watson was the fourth-youngest player ever to play in the VFL/AFL competition and made a comeback after retirement which included another premiership. 2015 AFL Season
The 2015 AFL season was the 119th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The Gold Coast Suns, officially the Gold Coast Football Club, are a professional Australian rules football club that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL).
