''Friday'' is the debut studio album, album by the Danish pop singer and ''Popstars'' participant Christine Milton, released on 8 April 2004. It spawned four singles, with Superstar (Christine Milton song), "Superstar" being the most successful, peaking at No. 1 on the Danish Singles Chart in February 2003. Christine Milton
Christine Milton (born 18 July 1985) is a Danish pop singer, songwriter and professional dancer. She was one of the participants in Denmark's version of the ''Popstars'' franchise, having competed in season 2. Despite not winning, she was signed to record label BMG. Career She is the original singer behind Jamelia's international hit single "Superstar", which was written and produced by Danish producers Cutfather & Joe and Remee in 2002. It spent seven weeks at number one on the official Danish singles chart, sold over 12,000 copies, and gave Milton her first gold and platinum record. In 2004 she co-hosted the annual Danish MGP, a song contest for kids aged 8 to 15, on DR1. On 8 April 2004, Milton released her debut album ''Friday''. Written and produced by the Swedish producers Ghost (Ulf Lindström & Johan Ekhé) and Danish producers Cutfather & Joe and Remee, the album was a #1 success in Denmark. ''Popstars'' is an international reality television franchise aimed to find new singing talent. Serving as a precursor to the ''Idol'' franchise, '' Popstars'' first began in New Zealand in 1999 when producer Jonathan Dowling formed the girl group TrueBliss. Despite all shows in the ''Popstars'' franchise having been off air in recent years, it remains one of the most successful TV show formats of all time with the format being sold to more than 50 countries, and producing groups such as Girls Aloud that had success on the UK charts for the next ten years after winning. The show was the inspiration for Simon Fuller's ''Idols'' franchise. Ryan Shaw
Ryan Christopher Shaw (born December 25, 1980) is an American soul musician from Georgia. He is part of the soul-revival movement in music and has been nominated for a Grammy three times, in the category of Best Traditional R&B Performance. Biography Shaw is from Decatur, Georgia. He learned to sing at the Free Church of God in Christ of Atlanta, Georgia and began singing harmony in a church choir at age five. In a 2007 interview, Shaw stated "My church was very traditional, and for a long time the only songs I learned were gospel songs." Shaw won a spot in a gospel musical at Georgia State University, and in 1998 he dropped out of college to take part in Tyler Perry's play ''I Know I've Been Changed''. At the end of the play's run he began doing Motown covers in New York, joining the group Fabulous Soul Shakers in 2004. "If You Leave Me Now" is a song by the American rock group Chicago, from their album ''Chicago X''. It was written and sung by bass player Peter Cetera and released as a single on July 30, 1976. It is also the title of a Chicago compilation album released by Columbia Records (Columbia 38590) in 1983. The single topped the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 on October 23, 1976, and stayed there for two weeks, making it the first number one hit for the group as well as hitting number one on the Easy Listening charts. Ana Johnsson
Anna Lovisa Johnsson (Jonsson), better known by her stage name Ana Johnsson (; born 4 October 1977), is a Swedish singer, best known for the song "We Are" from the Spider-Man 2 soundtrack.
