Frenzy!
''Frenzy!'' is the debut studio album by Nigerian singer D'Prince. It was released on 5 November 2012, through Mavin Records, and features guest appearances from Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Sinzu, Dr Sid, Timaya, Bracket, Eva, Ice Prince, M.I, General Pype, and Young Breed. Production was handled by Don Jazzy, Babyfresh, Altims, Aone Beats, Spellz, and Joshbeatz. The album was heavily criticized for its poor lyrics and lack of creative purpose. ''Frenzy!'' was nominated for Hip Hop World Revelation of the Year at the 2013 edition of the Headies. Background Nigerian record label Mo' Hits Records, co-founded by D'banj and Don Jazzy (D'Prince's brother), was home to some of the biggest names in the industry, including D'Prince himself, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, and Kayswitch. Charles Enebeli (born 23 October 1986), known by his stage name D'Prince, is a Nigerian Grammy Awards, Grammy-67th Annual Grammy Awards, nominated music executive, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, Promoter (entertainment), promoter, and philanthropist. The Headies 2013
The Headies 2013 was the 8th edition of The Headies. It was held on 26 December 2013, at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos. The show was hosted by Tiwa Savage and Dr SID. Olamide was the biggest awardee of the night, winning three awards from seven nominations. Phyno won the Best Rap Single category for his song "Man of the Year". D'Tunes, Praiz, and Blackmagic all won for the first time. Sean Tizzle won the Next Rated category and was later awarded a Hyundai Tucson. Davido took home two awards, including Best R&B/Pop Album for ''Omo Baba Olowo''. Iyanya only received one award from five nominations.
