Freeze Out (game Show)
''Freeze Out'' was an ITV game show presented by Mark Durden-Smith and refereed by Uriah Rennie, broadcast in August 2015. Gameplay Five contestants compete through four rounds of challenges by answering questions and pushing "sliders" (pucks with grip handles on top) on a circular ice table. Rennie, dressed in a referee's jersey, keeps time and resolves disputes as the "Ice Judge." Smash Out A cluster of seven blue sliders is placed at the centre of a circle on the table. Each player in turn answers a series of quick-fire questions, with each correct answer giving them the chance to fire one orange slider into the circle. The player's turn ends when either 90 seconds have elapsed or they have knocked all seven blue sliders out. If a blue slider hits the edge of the table and bounces back into the circle, it must be knocked out again. The player with the slowest time is eliminated. Mark Durden-Smith
Mark Durden-Smith (born 1 October 1968 in Soho, London) is an English television presenter best known for presenting ITV shows such as '' I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW!'' and ''This Morning Summer'', Sky 1 shows such as ''The Match'' and ''Double or Nothing'', and Channel 5's rugby union coverage. Early life Durden-Smith was educated at Radley College. He then studied at Durham University. At Durham he made one appearance as a full-back for the rugby team first XV and was a squad member for the 1991 tour to Zimbabwe. Uriah Rennie
Uriah Rennie (born 23 October 1959 in Sheffield, England) is a retired top level English football referee. He was the first black referee to officiate in games of the Premier League. Career Rennie began refereeing in 1979 in local leagues, then operated in the Northern Premier League until 1994, at which time he was appointed to the Football League List of referees. He was given his first Premiership appointment on 23 August 1997, a game between Leeds United and Crystal Palace at Elland Road. Rennie became a FIFA referee in 2000, and joined the Select Group of professional referees the following year. Keith Hackett, head of the Professional Game Match Officials Board has described him as "the fittest referee we have ever seen on the national and world scene." ITV (TV Network)
ITV is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network. It was launched in 1955 as Independent Television to provide competition to BBC Television (established in 1936). ITV is the oldest commercial network in the UK. Since the passing of the Broadcasting Act 1990, it has been legally known as Channel 3 to distinguish it from the other analogue channels at the time, BBC1, BBC2 and Channel 4.
