Freeway Faceoff
The Freeway Face-Off is an ice hockey rivalry between the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings. The series takes its name from the massive freeway system in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area, the home of both teams; one could travel from one team's arena to the other simply by traveling along Interstate 5. The term is akin to the '' Freeway Series'', which refers to meetings between the Los Angeles metropolitan area's Major League Baseball teams, the Dodgers and the Angels. Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks are a professional ice hockey team based in Anaheim, California. Cameron Matthew Fowler (born December 5, 1991) is a Canadian-born American professional ice hockey defenseman for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 12th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2010 NHL entry draft, for whom he played the first 15 seasons of his NHL career. A dual citizen, Fowler represents the United States internationally and won a gold medal as a member of the junior team at the 2010 World Junior Championships.
