Freelove
"Freelove" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 5 November 2001 as the third single from the band's tenth studio album, ''Exciter (Depeche Mode album), Exciter'' (2001). "Freelove" reached 19 on the UK Singles Chart. The single version, which was produced by Flood (producer), Flood, is different than the album version, with a shorter running time and an additional drum track. The B-side is an instrumental called "Zenstation". There is also a DVD release of "Freelove", a first for Depeche Mode. It contains video footage of "Freelove" from the Philadelphia concert in 2001, audio of other songs performed at the concert, and four bonus 30-second videos of the band. The videos were directed by Anton Corbijn. ''Exciter'' is the tenth studio album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was first released on 14 May 2001 in the United Kingdom by Mute Records and a day later in the United States by Reprise Records. The album was produced by Mark Bell (British musician), Mark Bell, and was supported by the Exciter Tour, one of the band's most successful tours. ''Exciter'' debuted at number nine on the UK Albums Chart and number eight on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, selling 115,000 copies in its first week in the United States. It was the only Depeche Mode album to debut higher in the United States than in the United Kingdom. Bertrand Burgalat (born July 1963) is a French musician, composer and producer. Work Burgalat is known for his 1960s-style pop sound, something he has lent to his production and arrangement work with Air, April March, A.S Dragon, Cinnamon, Dominique Dalcan, Jad Wio, Mick Harvey, Louis Philippe, Supergrass, Robert Wyatt, Alizée, and French writer Michel Houellebecq. Depeche Mode are an English electronic music, electronic band formed in Basildon, Essex in 1980. Originally formed with the line-up of Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher (musician), Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke, the band currently consists of Gahan and Gore. "Goodnight Lovers" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 11 February 2002 as the fourth and final single from the band's tenth studio album, '' Exciter'' (2001). The single was not released in the US. The single did not qualify for the UK Singles Chart because it contained three songs in addition to the single itself, one more than UK singles rules allow. It did however qualify for the Budget Albums Chart and went straight to Number One before falling rapidly, the first Depeche Mode single to reach number one in an official UK chart. "I Feel Loved" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 30 July 2001 as the second single from the band's 10th studio album, '' Exciter'' (2001). In Australia, it was released as the album's lead single, as " Dream On" was skipped. In 2002, "I Feel Loved" was nominated for two Grammy Awards: one for Best Dance Recording and another for the Danny Tenaglia remix for Best Remixed Recording. Music video There are four versions of the music video, one that uses the single version, but with a cold ending, rather than the fading out ending. John Hillcoat
John Hillcoat (born 14 August 1961) is an Australian film director, screenwriter, and music video director. Console (also known as Acid Pauli) is an electronic music project founded by Martin Gretschmann, the former lead programmer for the German band The Notwist. The band incorporates elements of electronic music. The band consists of Miriam Osterrieder (vocals, keyboard), Christoph Brandner (drums), Axel Fischer (MS10, guitar), Michael Schwaiger (keyboard, pad), Anton Kaun (visuals), and Martin Gretschmann (computer).
