Free Palestine Party
The Free Palestine Party (FPP) is a European political alliance founded by pro-Palestinian Muslim minority parties in Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. These parties participated in the 2024 European parliament election under the Free Palestine slogan. None of the parties in the party won a single seat in the elections. Ideology The declared goal of the Free Palestine Party is to raise awareness of the consequences of the Gaza war and call on the European Union to take more decisive action against Israel. The Free Palestine Party claims to support the idea of a two-state solution of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. To achieve this goal, its members advocate dialogue between the various parties involved, including Hamas. In addition to the Palestinian issue, the FPP program lists proposals in the field of the environment, combating tax evasion and discrimination. Team Fouad Ahidar (TFA) is a Belgium, Belgian political party. Founded in 2024 as a minority-interest party, it is named after its founder, Fouad Ahidar. Establishment Fouad Ahidar was elected as a Brussels MP in 2004 for sp.a, later known as Vooruit (political party), Vooruit. He held a leading position in the party and was party leader. After Vooruit party chairman Conner Rousseau was charged with making racist statements, Ahidar resigned from the party in December 2023. The Union of French Muslim Democrats (; UDMF) is a French political party founded in 2012. The party has faced criticism for purportedly being against the secular values of the French Republic, while it states that it is a non-religious party similar to existing Christian democracy, Christian democratic parties.
