Fredrik Th. Bolin
Fredrik Thorstein Bolin (8 May 1931 – 13 October 2005) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He was born in Moss, and finished his secondary education in 1949. He was a journalist in '' Moss Avis'' from 1949 to 1950 and ''Mannskapsavisa'' from 1950 to 1951. After a period as a science student, he worked in ''Moss Avis'' again from 1955 to 1960. He was also a member of Moss city council from 1955 to 1959. He had a break in 1957, when he was a freelance journalist in South America. He was hired in '' Aftenposten'' in 1965, and was the newspaper's correspondent in Brussels from 1970 to 1976 and subeditor from 1976 to 1977. From 1977 to 1992 he was the editor-in-chief of ''Moss Avis'', and from 1986 to 1994 he chaired the Conservative Press Association. He became an honorary member of the latter organization together with Johan E. Holand in 1994. Moss, Norway
is a coastal town and a municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Moss. The city of Moss was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt) and City in 1720. The rural municipality of Jeløy was merged with the city on 1 July 1943. The former municipality of Rygge was merged into it on January 1, 2020. Its administrative district covers areas east of the town, such as the island of Dillingøy in the lake Vansjø. Parts of the town are located on the peninsula of Jeløy. The city of Moss has 30,723 inhabitants (2012). Name The Old Norse form of the name was . Østfold Politicians
Østfold is a traditional region, a former county and a current electoral district in southeastern Norway. The Honour medal for courage and devotion (french: "Médaille d’honneur pour acte de courage et de dévouement") is a French decoration than can be bestowed to individuals and whole units. Examen artium was the name of the academic certification conferred in Denmark and Norway, qualifying the student for admission to university studies. Examen artium was originally introduced as the entrance exam of the University of Copenhagen in 1630. The University of Copenhagen was the only university of Denmark-Norway until The Royal Frederick University in Christiania was founded in 1811.
