Frederik Børm (born August 12, 1988) is a Danish handball player, who plays for the Norwegian team ØIF Arendal. Frederik Børm joined ØIF Arendal as part of their 2021–2022 season. Career Frederik Børm has played in a number of Danish handball clubs including Aarhus Håndbold, SønderjyskE, Skjern Håndbold, KIF Kolding, Nordsjælland Håndbold, Viborg HK, Bjerringbro-Silkeborg and Stoholm Håndbold. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. The Denmark men's national handball team ( da, Danmarks håndboldlandshold, Denmark's national handball team) is controlled by the Danish Handball Association and represents Denmark in international matches. They are the team with the fourth most medals won in European Championship history on the men's side behind Sweden, France and Spain, with a total of seven medals. Aarhus Håndbold was a handball club from Aarhus, Denmark. The club was founded in 2001 originally under the name Århus GF, as an extension of the traditional Aarhus clubs AGF, Brabrand IF, VRI and Århus KFUM/YMCA / Hasle. AGF chose later to withdraw from the superstructure. The home arena of Aarhus Håndbold was Ceres Arena. The club struggled in the last year of its existence with economic problems and in April 2021 the club was declared bankrupt. In connection with this all the players from Aarhus Håndbold were released and Århus Håndbold merged with the neighbors from Skanderborg Håndbold under the name Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold. SønderjyskE is a Danish sport club. They have two handball teams (one male based in Sønderborg, one female based in Aabenraa), two football teams (one professional male club and one professional female club, both based in Haderslev) and an ice hockey team based in Vojens.
