Frederick Bullock (mayor)
Frederick William Bullock (7 August 1851 – 31 May 1931) was a successful Adelaide real estate agent and the mayor of Adelaide from 1891 to 1892. His father, John Bullock migrated to Australia in 1839, set up business as a real estate agent, and was a director of the Burra Mine. Charles Wilcox (mayor)
Charles Willcox (15 September 1843 – 7 September 1921) was an Australian businessman and politician. He was Mayor of Adelaide from 1892 to 1894, was briefly a member of the South Australian House of Assembly for Gumeracha in 1896, and was a member of the South Australian Legislative Council for North-Eastern District from 1897 to 1902. Early years He was born at Burrowbridge on the River Parrett in Somerset, where he was educated, before sailing to South Australia in 1863 in the ''Adamant'' at the age of 18. ''The Register'', originally the ''South Australian Gazette and Colonial Register'', and later ''South Australian Register,'' was South Australia's first newspaper. It was first published in London in June 1836, moved to Adelaide in 1837, and folded into '' The Advertiser'' almost a century later in February 1931. The newspaper was the sole primary source for almost all information about the settlement and early history of South Australia. Sir Lewis Cohen (23 December 1849 – 24 June 1933) was a businessman who was a Member of the Parliament of South Australia, South Australian Parliament for 10 years and served on the Adelaide City Council for 30 years. He was List of mayors and lord mayors of Adelaide, Mayor of Adelaide 1889–1890, 1901–1904, and 1909–1911, and then Lord Mayor 1921–1923. He was Knight Bachelor, knighted in 1924.
