Freddy Pacheco
Freddy Alexander Pacheco (born April 17, 1998) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher in the Detroit Tigers organization. Career St. Louis Cardinals On November 29, 2017, Pacheco signed with the St. Louis Cardinals as an international free agent. He spent his first professional season with the Dominican Summer League Cardinals and Gulf Coast League Cardinals, posting a 1.05 ERA across 20 appearances. In 2019, he made 41 appearances for the Single–A Peoria Chiefs, logging a 4.12 ERA with 90 strikeouts in innings pitched. He did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pacheco's 2021 season was split between High–A Peoria, the Double–A Springfield Cardinals, and the Triple–A Memphis Redbirds.
