Fred Fuchs
Frederic S. Fuchs is a television and film producer active in the United States and Canada, where he holds dual citizenship. He became an executive in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on April 3, 2006. Fuchs became known for the television series ''Faerie Tale Theatre''. He afterwards became president of American Zoetrope, and thus had a hand in producing films such as ''The Godfather Part III'' (1990), '' The Rainmaker'' (1997) and ''The Virgin Suicides'' (1999). With CBC, his work included the television series ''What It's Like Being Alone'' (2006). Later, he was an executive producer of the Starz and GK-TV series ''Camelot''. Most recently, Fuchs has been the executive producer of the films ''Monkey Beach'' (2020) and '' The Virtuoso'' (2021). He also has founded a charitable organization that owns and operates an independent cinema, the Westdale Theatre, in Hamilton, Ontario. ''The Angry Video Game Nerd'' (abbreviated as ''AVGN'') is an American retrogaming review comedy web series created by and starring James Rolfe. The series centers on Rolfe's titular skit character, often simply shortened to "the Nerd" (sometimes just "Nerd"), a short-tempered and foul-mouthed gamer who delivers commentary on retro games of poor quality. While the series began with Rolfe simply playing games while delivering retrospective commentary, the show would eventually grow in scope to encompass sketches featuring guest characters, reviews of gaming consoles and peripherals, and short lectures about video game history and culture. ''Jack'' is a 1996 American coming-of-age comedy-drama film directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Robin Williams. The film co-stars Diane Lane, Jennifer Lopez, Fran Drescher, Bill Cosby, and Brian Kerwin. Williams plays the role of Jack Powell, a boy who ages four times faster than normal as a result of Werner syndrome, a form of progeria.
