Fred Boot
Fred Boot (Groningen, 1965) is a Dutch theatre producer. Career Boot started working for Joop van den Ende Theaterproducties in 1991 and was responsible for the publicity and marketing of over twenty musical productions, such as The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Cyrano - The Musical, West Side Story, fifteen stage play's (amongst others Duet, The Sunshine Boys, Torch Song Trilogy) and several revues, cabaret shows and foreign productions. He was also responsible for the corporate communication for Stage Entertainment and the publicity of foreign (co-)productions, such as The Phantom of the Opera, Cats and Les Misérables in Belgium, The Who's Tommy in London and Cyrano: The Musical, Victor/Victoria, Titanic and Footloose in New York. Robin De Levita
Robin de Levita (born April 19, 1959) is a Dutch theatre- and television producer, who produced shows on Broadway and West End and won several Tony Awards. Career De Levita produced over a hundred television programs for Dutch media tycoon Joop van den Ende TV-Producties/ Endemol. After that, he started to work internationally. From 1993 - 2001 he lived and worked in New York City, first as managing director of Endemol Theater Productions. His first Broadway production was the musical '' Cyrano'', followed by '' Victor/Victoria'' with Julie Andrews. For five years, De Levita was a partner in Dodger Theatricals and produced ''Hamlet'' (with Ralph Fiennes), '' 42nd Street'', ''Urinetown'' and ''Into the Woods'' among seventeen Broadway shows. ''Soldier of Orange'' ( Dutch: ''Soldaat van Oranje'') is a Dutch musical production, based on the true story of resistance hero Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema. In the 1970s, he wrote his experiences during World War II down in a book and director Paul Verhoeven made it into a 1977 film, starring actor Rutger Hauer. The musical premiered on 30 October 2010, in a theatre that was purpose-built for the production: the TheaterHangaar on the former Valkenburg air base in Katwijk (in an old hangar). Siebren Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema (3 April 1917 – 26 September 2007) was a Dutch writer who became a resistance fighter and RAF pilot during the Second World War. Near the end of the war he was adjudant (assistant) to Queen Wilhelmina. He was made Knight 4th class of the Military William Order. He is perhaps best known for his book (Soldier of Orange) which described his experiences in the war. His book was later made into a film. The book and the film about it eventually were made into the most successful Dutch musical ever, premiering 30 October 2010. Early life Roelfzema was born in the former Dutch East Indies in Surabaya, on Java, when it was under colonial rule. He was from a patrician family, which is listed in the . ''Victor/Victoria'' is a musical with a book by Blake Edwards, music by Henry Mancini, lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and additional musical material (music and lyrics) by Frank Wildhorn. It is based on the 1982 film of the same name, which was a remake of the German film comedy '' Viktor und Viktoria'' shot by Reinhold Schünzel in 1933 from his own script. Julie Andrews was the only cast member from the film to return for the musical. Mancini died before he could complete the music, and Wildhorn was brought in to finish the score.
