''Freakonomics: The Movie'' is a 2010 American Documentary film, documentary film based on the 2005 nonfiction book ''Freakonomics, Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything'' written by economist Steven D. Levitt and writer Stephen J. Dubner. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2010, and had a theatrical release later that year. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 66% based on reviews from 64 critics. Heidi Ewing is an American documentary filmmaker and the co-director of ''Jesus Camp'', ''The Boys of Baraka'', ''12th & Delaware'', ''Detropia, DETROPIA'', ''Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You'', ''One of Us (2017 film), One of Us'', ''Love Fraud'' (series), ''I Carry You With Me'' (''narrative'') and Endangered. Melvin Van Peebles (born Melvin Peebles; August 21, 1932 – September 21, 2021) was an American actor, filmmaker, writer, and composer. He worked as an active filmmaker into the early 2020s. Match-fixing in professional sumo is an allegation that has plagued professional sumo for decades. Due to the amount of money changing hands depending on rank and prize money, there had been numerous reports of (corruption, bout-fixing) in professional sumo for years before it was finally definitively proven to exist in 2011.
