''Frasier'' () is an American television sitcom that premiered on October 12, 2023, on Paramount+. It is a continuation of the 1993—2004 sitcom ''Frasier'' featuring the character Frasier Crane, played by Kelsey Grammer. Premise Shortly after the death of his father Martin and the end of his nearly 20-year relationship with Charlotte, Dr. Frasier Crane has returned to Boston. Hoping for a better relationship with his son, Frederick, now a Boston firefighter, Frasier takes a professorship at Harvard University and moves into Freddy's apartment building. Niles Crane (born 1957) is a fictional character on the American sitcom '' Frasier'', a spin-off of the television show ''Cheers''. He was portrayed by David Hyde Pierce. "Goodnight, Seattle", by Christopher Lloyd and Joe Keenan, is the series finale of the American sitcom '' Frasier''. It aired on NBC on May 13, 2004, in the 11th year of the series. A sitcom, a Portmanteau, portmanteau of situation comedy, or situational comedy, is a genre of comedy centered on a fixed set of characters who mostly carry over from episode to episode.
