Franklin Langham
Franklin Langham (born May 8, 1968) is an American professional golfer. Langham was born in Thomson, Georgia. He played golf at the University of Georgia from 1989 to 1991 and was named an All-American in 1991. He played on the 1991 Walker Cup team. Langham played on the PGA Tour in 1996, 1998-2002 and 2005 and on the Nationwide Tour in 1993-95, 1997, 2003–04 and 2006–08. He has three victories on the Nationwide Tour and has had finished runner-up on four occasions in PGA Tour events. He best finish on the PGA Tour money list was 26th in 2000. His best finish at a major was 7th place at the 2000 PGA Championship. The 2008 season saw Langham's final year on the Nationwide Tour. Thomson, Georgia
Thomson (originally called Slashes) is a city in McDuffie County, Georgia, United States. The population was 6,778 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of McDuffie County. Thomson's nickname is "The Camellia City of the South", in honor of the thousands of camellia plants throughout the city. Thomson was founded in 1837 as a depot on the Georgia Railroad. Richard Johnson (golfer)
Richard Johnson (born 2 February 1972) is a Welsh professional golfer. Early life Johnson's father, Peter, is the former pro at Vale of Glamorgan in Cardiff, Wales and is chairman of the PGA in Wales. Peter Johnson is now the professional at Ridgeway Golf Club in Caerphilly. Professional career Johnson played on the PGA Tour's developmental tour from 1999 to 2007. During the final year of this timespan, he led the Nationwide Tour's money list to earn his PGA Tour card. However, he was unable to retain his card and returned to the Nationwide Tour. At the 2009 Michael Hill New Zealand Open, Johnson scored a hole in one on the par-4 15th hole for which he won a pallet of Heineken beer. The Players Championship
The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as The PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf ($20 million). The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but unlike the major championships and World Golf Championships events, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours. The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Jeff Gove (born May 28, 1971) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Web.com Tour. Gove was born in Seattle, Washington. He played college golf at Pepperdine University. He turned professional in 1994. Gove was a member of PGA Tour in 2000, 2002, 2006–08, 2010, and 2013 and the Web.com Tour in 1995–99, 2001, 2003–05, 2009, 2010–12, and 2014. Glen Hnatiuk (born May 15, 1965) is a Canadian professional golfer. Early life Hnatiuk was born in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada and attended the University of Southern Mississippi for college in the United States. He turned professional in 1990 and would then play on the Nationwide Tour for many years. Professional career Hnatiuk played his first full season on the Nationwide Tour in 1992, picking up one win in his rookie season and over $50,000 in earnings. He would play at Q-School later that year, but finished T85 and did not earn is PGA Tour card. In 1993, in 28 events on the Nationwide Tour, Hnatiuk made only four cuts and $4,000. Hnatiuk played full seasons on the Nationwide Tour through 1997, picking up his second and third career wins in playoffs in 1995 and 1996 and earning about $200,000. The Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank is a professional golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour, played at Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, Utah. One of the original tournaments of the 1990 Ben Hogan Tour as the Utah Classic, the tournament has been played every year but two (1997, 1998). The first seven (1990–1996) were played in Provo at Riverside Country Club and the next sixteen (1999–2014) at Willow Creek in Sandy. Formerly played in early September, the tournament moved to late July in 2011 and to mid-July in 2012. It moved to Thanksgiving Point Golf Club in Lehi in 2015, a few miles north of Utah Lake and along the Jordan River.
