Frank Morano
Frank Morano (born 1984/1985) is an American radio host and politician serving as a member of the New York City Council for the 51st district. He was elected in a 2025 special election to succeed Joe Borelli, who resigned to join the private sector. A Republican, his district includes the South Shore of Staten Island. Early life and education Morano was born on Staten Island to parents who moved there from Brooklyn. Career Radio broadcasting One of Morano's first radio broadcast shows was "Moranovision", which he started hosting at 17 years old in 2001, focused on politics including interviews with local politicians and vigilante Bernhard Goetz. New York City Council
The New York City Council is the lawmaking body of New York City in the United States. It has 51 members from 51 council districts throughout the five boroughs. The council serves as a check against the mayor in a mayor-council government model, the performance of city agencies' land use decisions, and legislating on a variety of other issues. It also has sole responsibility for approving the city budget. Members elected are limited to two consecutive four-year terms in office but may run again after a four-year respite. WABC (770 AM broadcasting, AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to New York, New York, carrying a conservative talk radio format known as "Talkradio 77". Nicole Malliotakis
Nicole Malliotakis ( ; born November 11, 1980) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for New York's 11th congressional district since 2021. Her constituency covers Staten Island and southern Brooklyn. Malliotakis is the only Republican representing any part of New York City in Congress, and is one of five female Republican elected officials in New York City, with the other four serving on the New York City Council. Curtis Sliwa (; born March 26, 1954) is an American activist, radio talk show host, and founder and chief executive officer of the Guardian Angels, a nonprofit crime prevention organization. A Wilson Pakula is an authorization given by a political party to a candidate for public office in the State of New York that allows the candidate not registered with that party to run as its candidate in a given election. WRCN-FM (103.9 MHz) is a radio station broadcasting a news/talk radio format, licensed to Riverhead, New York and serving eastern Long Island. The station is owned by JVC Media LLC with studios located inside of Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, New York, and transmitter located in Manorville, New York.
