Frank Kvinge
Frank Kvinge (born 21 January 1968 in Sandnes, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (guitar) residing in Drøbak near Oslo, known from several album releases. Career After finishing high school in Sandnes he studied guitar at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles 1987, before moving to Chicago in 1989. In the period 1989–2001 he worked there as profesjonal guitarist on the jazz and blues scenes, sometimes with his own band. Since 2002 he has lived in Norway, working with the late Jan Erik Kongshaug from 2013 to 2019. Sandnes
Sandnes () is a city and municipality in Rogaland, Norway. It lies immediately south of Stavanger, the 4th largest city in Norway and together, the Stavanger/Sandnes area is the third-largest urban area in Norway. The urban city of Sandnes lies in the extreme western part of the vast municipality and it makes up about 5% of the total land area of the municipality. Sandnes is part of the traditional district of Jæren. The western part of the municipality is very urbanized while the eastern part of the municipality is very rural. Kenneth Ekornes
Kenneth Ekornes (born 7 July 1974 in Sykkylven, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (percussion) and member of the 'Brazz Brothers', known from a number of recordings, as well as for his multiethnic musical expression and his creative use of electronics. Career Ekornes is a graduate of the Rhythm program at Høgskolen i Agder and play in bands like Desafinado, Nymark Collective, Gumbo, Batagraf led by Jon Balke (''Statements'', 2005). He also appears on Jai Shankar's ''Ragajazz'', and is in the new lineup of Ab und Zu. Sven Nyhus
Sven Nyhus (May 21, 1932 – May 20, 2023) was a Norwegian folk musician, fiddler, composer and musicologist. He was born in Røros; the son of construction worker and fiddler Peder Nyhus, and the father of Harding fiddler Åshild Breie Nyhus and pianist Ingfrid Breie Nyhus. Among his collections are ''Pols i Røros-tradisjon'' from 1973 and ''Felklang på Rørosmål'' from 1983. Among his albums are ''Bergrosa'' from 1984 and ''Grimen'' from 1997. Erlend Fredrik Skomsvoll (born 12 May 1969) is a Norwegian jazz musician (piano, keyboards, accordion, and tuba), band leader, composer and arranger, known from his own band Skomsork and the band Wibutee with Live Maria Roggen, Madrugada, and Kaizers Orchestra.
