Frank Guthrie (politician)
Frank Guthrie (7 June 1893 – 21 September 1955) was an Australian politician who was a Labor Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1950 until his death, representing the seat of Bunbury. Williams was born in Perth, to Eliza Ann (née Harvey) and David Guthrie. He enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force in 1915, and during the war served as a private in the 16th and 48th Battalions. He was wounded in action in France in 1917, losing a leg. After the war's end, Guthrie worked as a tally clerk on the Bunbury wharf. He was elected to the Bunbury Road Board in June 1934, and served until its abolition in March 1950, including as chairman for twelve years.Frank Guthrie

Frank Guthrie (rugby Union)
Frank Edward Huntingdon Guthrie (3 November 1869 – 19 June 1954) was an England born South African international rugby union half-back. Biography Although born in Notting Hill, London, Guthrie was educated at Diocesan College in Cape Town, where he also played provincial rugby for Western Province. He made his first appearance for South Africa in the 1st Test of Great Britain's 1891 tour, South Africa's first as a Test nation. He was not selected to play in the 2nd Test, but returned to the side for the 3rd match at Newlands Stadium, where Great Britain won to seal a 3–0 series victory. His final match for South Africa was the 1st Test of Great Britain's 1896 tour, an 8–0 South Africa loss. Guthrie died in 1954, in Pietermaritzburg, at the age of 84. North Carolina Award
The North Carolina Award is the highest civilian award bestowed by the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is awarded in the four fields of science, literature, the fine arts, and public service. Sometimes referred to as the "Nobel Prize of North Carolina", the award has been given to up to nine individuals each year since 1964. The awards, provided for by chapters 140A and 143B of the North Carolina General Statutes, are chosen by the North Carolina Awards Committee appointed by the Governor of North Carolina and supervised by the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. The award was designed by sculptor Paul Manship and was one of the last commissions he completed before his death.
