Franck Elemba
Franck Dannique Elemba Owaka (born 21 July 1990 (in French)) is an athlete from the Republic of the Congo competing in the shot put. He represented his country at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships, 2014 World Indoor Championships and 2015 World Championships in Athletics, 2015 World Championships, as well as team Africa at the 2010 IAAF Continental Cup, 2010 and 2014 IAAF Continental Cup, 2014 Continental Cup. He was born in Brazzaville, and represented his country at the 2016 Summer Olympics where he was placed 4th in the shot put with a throw of 21.20 metres. He was the flag bearer for the Republic of Congo during the 2016 Summer Olympics Parade of Nations, Parade of Nations. Hanžeković Memorial
Hanžeković Memorial ( hr, Hanžekovićev memorijal) is an athletics event at the Sportski Park Mladost athletic stadium in Zagreb, Croatia as part of the IAAF World Challenge Meetings. It was first organized in 1951. ''Hanžek'' (which is the popular name of meeting) was first held in 1951 as a local level meeting. Seven years later, in 1958, it became an international competition. From 1999 to 2009 the IAAF classified the Hanžeković Memorial among IAAF Grand Prix meetings and it gained IAAF World Challenge meeting status upon the inauguration of that series in 2010. The meeting got its name in memory of renowned Zagreb runner Boris Hanžeković. During the Parade of Nations within the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, athletes and officials from each participating team marched in the Maracanã Stadium preceded by their flag and placard bearer. Each flag bearer had been chosen either by the team's National Olympic Committee or by the athletes themselves. Parade order Greece entered first, as the nation of the ancient and first modern Olympic Games. The host nation Brazil marched last. Other teams entered in alphabetical order in the language of the host country ( Portuguese), according with tradition and IOC guidelines.
