Álvaro Francisco Nájera Gil (born 25 July 1983) is a retired Colombian footballer who played for last time in La Equidad of Colombian First Division. He played the 2006/2007 season in Mexico for Querétaro; the team failed to stay in México Primera División football, after which he returned to Colombia. Atlético Nacional S. A., best known as Atlético Nacional, is a Colombian professional football club based in Medellín. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, also known as Copa Sudamericana (; ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL, the governing body of football in South America, since 2002. It is the second-most prestigious club competition in South American football. CONCACAF clubs were invited between 2004 and 2008. The Superliga Colombiana (''Colombian Superleague''), officially known as Superliga BetPlay Dimayor due to sponsorship by online betting company BetPlay, is an official competition contested between the winners of the Apertura and Finalización tournaments of the Colombian Categoría Primera A.
