Francis Stephenson
Francis Stephenson (born ) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s, and was the Operations Director at the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. He retired from playing during the 2007 close season, after playing in the Hull Kingston Rovers promotion season in National League One. On signing in late 2005 Rovers made what they called a sensational swoop when the signed Stephenson from London Broncos a Super League star & club captain Yorkshire man Francis Stephenson put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Hull Kingston Rovers. Mike Stephenson
Michael Stephenson (born 27 January 1947) is an English former rugby league commentator and player. Stephenson was born in Dewsbury, West Riding of Yorkshire. He is commonly known as "Stevo", the nickname that he is known by in rugby league and on TV, played at club level for Dewsbury, and Australian side Penrith, and also played for Yorkshire and Great Britain, with whom he won the 1972 Rugby League World Cup. Stephenson played in the position for most of his playing career. Stephenson was responsible for the setting-up of the Rugby League Heritage Centre at the George Hotel in Huddersfield. Stephen Prescott (26 December 1973 – 9 November 2013) was a professional rugby league footballer who played as a during the 1990s and 2000s. Prescott made his début for St Helens in 1993, and soon established himself as the club's first choice fullback. He made his senior international début in 1996, playing both games for England in their 1996 European Championship victory, and touring with Great Britain in the Southern Hemisphere. In the same year, he also helped St Helens win the Championship (Super League I) and Challenge Cup for the first time in two decades. Steve McNamara (born 18 September 1971) is an English professional rugby league football coach who was most recently the head coach of the Catalans Dragons in the Super League, until 20 May 2025, and a former professional player.
