Francis E. Waive
Francis Ejiroghene Waive (born 21 May 1966) is a Nigerians, Nigerian priest and politician who currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives (Nigeria), House of Representatives, from Nigerian National Assembly delegation from Delta, Delta state and the Ughelli North/South/Udu federal constituency. Early life and education Waive was born on 21 May 1966 in Lagos Nigeria. He attended the Aladja grammar school in Udu, Nigeria, Udu, Delta State, Nigeria, and received a degree in accounting from the Edo State University Ekpoma, now known as the Ambrose Ali University. He studied accounting. Career Waive was deployed to Lagos State for his National Youth Service Corps. He completed his NYSC with Oceanic Bank PLC now known as Ecobank Nigeria. The National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a bicameral legislature established under section 4 of the Nigerian Constitution. It consists of a Senate with 109 members and a 360-member House of Representatives. The body, modeled after the federal Congress of the United States, is supposed to guarantee equal representation with 3 senators to each 36 states irrespective of size in the Senate plus 1 senator representing the Federal Capital Territory and single-member district, plurality voting in the House of Representatives. The ''Nigerian Tribune'' is an English-language newspaper published in Ibadan, Nigeria. It was established in 1949 by Obafemi Awolowo and is the oldest running private Nigerian newspaper. National Youth Service Corps
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a program set up by the Nigerian government during the military regime to involve Nigerian graduates in nation-building and the development of the country. There is no military conscription in Nigeria, but since 1973 graduates of universities and later polytechnics have been required to take part in the National Youth Service Corps program for one year. This is known as national service year. Ahmadu Ali served as the first Director-General of the NYSC until 1975. The incumbent Director-General is Mohammed Kaku Fadah. Ughelli is a town in Delta State, Nigeria, and one of the 24 kingdoms that make up the Urhobo Nation. It also serves as the headquarters of Ughelli North local government area of Delta State.
