Francesco Di Fulvio (born 15 August 1993) is a professional water polo player from Italy. He was part of the Italian team at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where the team won the bronze medal. Pescara
Pescara (; nap, label=Neapolitan language, Abruzzese, Pescàrë; nap, label=Neapolitan language, Pescarese, Piscàrë) is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo Regions of Italy, region of Italy. 2023 FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup
The 2023 Men's FINA Water Polo World Cup was the 17th edition of the tournament. It ran from 8 March to 2 July 2023. The Super final took place between 30 June and 2 July 2023 in Los Angeles, United States. From this year on, the tournament was replacing the FINA Water Polo World League. Spain won their first title after defeating Italy in the final. Format There were two divisions. In Division 1, the top twelve teams from the World Championships played. They played all matches in March in Zagreb and Podgorica. All other teams could have signed up in Division 2, in which each continent hosted a qualification tournament. The top two teams from each of those tournaments played in an intercontinental tournament. The LEN Super Cup is an annual water polo match organized by LEN and contested by the reigning champions of the two European club competitions, the LEN Champions League and the LEN Euro Cup. LEN Champions League
The LEN Champions League is the top-tier European professional water polo club competition with teams from up to 18 countries. It is organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation. The competition started in 1963 as European Cup. A change of name and format occurred in 1996, with the competition being renamed Champions League and the final four system being established as the format of choice, for the first time during the 1996–97 LEN Champions League. The men's tournament of Water polo at the 2016 Summer Olympics at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, began on 6 August and ended on 20 August 2016.
