Fran Borgia (born 1980, Jerez de la Frontera, Spain) is a film producer based in Singapore since 2004. He is the founder of Akanga Film Asia. Career He was the producer and editor for ''Here'' (2009), Ho Tzu Nyen’s first feature film that was presented at the 41st Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes Film Festival 2009; and for the medium-length film, ''Earth'', presented at the 66th Venice Film Festival 2009. ''A Land Imagined'' () is a 2018 neo-noir mystery thriller film written and directed by Yeo Siew Hua. A Singapore-France-Netherlands co-production, the film tells the story of a police investigator who uncovers the truth behind the disappearance of a construction worker. Yeo Siew Hua
Yeo Siew Hua (born 1 April 1985) is a Singaporean director, screenwriter and visual artist. Life and career Graduating among the top of his cohort in Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Media Studies, Yeo went on to study philosophy at the National University of Singapore. Yeo is a founding member of the 13 Little Pictures film collective and is part of the autonomous art group soft/Wall/studs, where he programmes documentary films in conversation with contemporary art practice. His experimental feature debut ''In the House of Straw'' (2009) was named by critics as being a significant entry in the Singapore New Wave. 22nd Busan International Film Festival
