Fotis Outsikas
Fotis Outsikas (; born 26 May 1957) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as left midfielder. Club career Outsikas first played football at Pamisos Messini, where he made his debut at the age of just 14 with the men's team in the local championship. In 1973 he was transferred to AEK Athens to join their academies at the recommendation of Andreas Stamatiadis, at the age of just 16 as a great hope for the future, since he was one of the few footballers at that time with speed and a remarkable pass. He was promoted to the first team under František Fadrhonc, but the players of the time at AEK made very difficult for young Outsikas to earn a place in the team's squad. He was a part of the squad that reached to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1977. With the yellow-blacks, he won 2 consecutive Championships, a Greek Cup including a domestic double in 1978. Messini
Messini (, before 1867: Νησί ''Nisi'') is a municipal unit (''dimotiki enotita'') and the seat town (''edra'') of the municipality (''dimos'') of Messini within the regional unit (''perifereiaki enotita'') of Messenia in the region (''perifereia'') of Peloponnese, one of 13 regions into which Greece has been divided. Before 2011 the same hierarchy prevailed, according to Law 2539 of 1997, the Kapodistrias Plan, except that Messenia was a ''nomos'' and the Municipal unit was a locality (''topiko diamerisma''). The ''dimos'' existed under both laws, but not with the same constituents. The 1976–77 UEFA Cup was the sixth season of the UEFA Cup, the third-tier club football competition organised by UEFA. The final was played over two legs at Stadio Comunale, Turin, Italy, and at San Mamés, Bilbao, Spain. It was won by Juventus of Italy, who defeated Athletic Bilbao of Spain on the away goals rule after a 2–2 aggregate draw to claim their first UEFA Cup title. This was the first major European conquest for Juventus, having previously lost one European Cup final and two Inter-Cities Fairs' Cup finals. The 1977–78 Greek Football Cup was the 36th edition of the Greek Football Cup. The competition culminated with the Greek Cup Final, held at Karaiskakis Stadium, on 4 June 1978. The Greece national under-19 football team is the national football team of Greece and is controlled by the Hellenic Football Federation. Greece National Under-21 Football Team
The Greece national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Greece and is controlled by the Hellenic Football Federation, the governing body for football in Greece. The team competes in the European Under-21 Football Championship, held every two years. The under-21 competition rules stipulate that players must be 21 or under at the start of a two-year competition, so technically it is up to an U-23 competition. To be eligible for the Greece National Team, all the football players must hold Hellenic (Greek) nationality and comply with the provisions of Article 15 of the regulations governing the Application of FIFA Statutes.
