Forum For Living History
The Living History Forum () is a Swedish state administrative authority under the Ministry of Culture, established in 2003. Mission, background and activities The Living History Forum is a government agency for the promotion of democracy, tolerance and human rights. The authority is mandated to strive to strengthen people's will to actively work for the equal value of all people. It produces investigations and factual material, shows exhibitions for schoolchildren and the general public and conducts information activities in general. The authority was established in 2003. The origin of the authority was the information initiative ''Living History'' initiated by Göran Persson in June 1997 . The background to this was in turn a report by the Center for Immigrant Research at Stockholm University and the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention the same month. Sveriges Radio
Sveriges Radio Aktiebolag, AB (; "Sweden's Radio") is Sweden's national publicly funded radio programming, radio broadcaster. Sveriges Radio is a public limited company, owned by an independent foundation, previously funded through a television licence, licensing fee, the level of which is decided by the Riksdag, Swedish Riksdag. As of 1 January 2019, the funds stem from standard taxation. No advertising is permitted. Erik Josephson
Erik Semmy Josephson (7 March 1864 – 17 November 1929) was a Swedish architect. Biography Josephson was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He was the son of wholesaler August Abraham Josephson (1822–67) and Augusta Hortensia Jacobsson (1836–1915). Josephson was of Jewish descent. He graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1885 and from the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in 1888. After his studies, he worked at the Swedish National Property Agency (''Överintendentsämbetet''). Through his state owned work employer he got the opportunity to draw, create and be the architect of about 40 barracks facilities for the armed forces around Sweden between 1891 and 1922. He also worked with his own architect firm on the side. During late 1890s and early 1900s, he became known as an industry architect and specialist in bank buildings. Left Party (Sweden)
The Left Party ( , V) is a socialist political party in Sweden. On economic issues, the party opposes privatisations and advocates for increased public expenditures. In foreign policy, the party is Eurosceptic, being critical of the European Union, NATO and opposing Sweden’s entry into the eurozone. It attempted to get Sweden to join the Non-Aligned Movement in 1980, but did not succeed. The party is eco-socialist, and supports republicanism. It stands on the left-wing of the political spectrum. The party has never been part of a government at the national level; however, it has lent parliamentary support to governments led in the Riksdag by the Swedish Social Democratic Party.
